PERSISTANCE & DETERMINATION

I've got an injury.

A minor injury.

My rotator cuff has been annoying the hell out of me this past week.

Not cool!

I may or may not have worked through the pain . . knowing it was a "bad" pain.

:(

I KNOW . . no sympathy, nor do i want any. I brought this upon myself.

Ebay.com - NEW ROTATOR CUFF PLS.

So i've decided to do the "right" thing and take some well-needed time off to let it heal.

It's easier then it sounds!

Now by time off i don't mean COMPLETE time off, i'm still doing cardio & HIIT training . . . i know i know give me a break i'm trying here alright!

I will definitely be taking a full week off in the short term to let everything heal, so i can CONQUER the world again! woooo

Persistance & Determination

Persistance & Determination

Persistance & Determination

The dictionary defines persistance as, " continue in spite of obstacles or objections".

. . . in spite of obstacles. . .

Persistance started WAY before we began to recognise it. We did it automatically.

When we first learnt to walk . . we would keep on getting those little legs up . . keep on pushing through.

As we've grown older it seems that persistance has taken a detour and it is way too easy to give up because we can.

. . . because we CAN.

Backing away from persistance is detrimental to our goals in life!

DEFINITELY dangerous when it comes to interfering with our goals & ambitions.

You can have talent, but if you don't have that DRIVE TO SUCCEED, that STUBBORN DETERMINATION . . you will go nowhere fast.

Now i'm not one to say that i'm perfect . . i have been known in the past to freeze & not know what path i was going to take . . thought about giving up . . i would be lieing if i said i hadn't.

BUT . . i'm learning to say YES!

. . to say BRING IT ON! I'M GIVING IT ONE MORE SHOT . . I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I SEE MYSELF SUCCEEDING & ACCOMPLISHING THE TASK AT HAND.

This persistance is ALL you need to accomplish your goals (along with having goals to start with).

Don't let anybody stand in the way of your dreams . . and the way to ensure that does not happen is to be DETERMINED, TENACIOUS, have that LASER CONCENTRATION that is permanently imbedded in your brain . . that won't go away . . no matter what anybody says or does, or what is happening in the world around you . . it's tattooed in your head to succeed, to accomplish, to achieve. . . and YOU DO!

You really, really do.

So whether it be finishing off that last paragraph in your essay, or completing that 5mins, 20 secs you have left on the treadmill . . making that phone call . . just do it. RELEASE THAT ADRENALINE. You will feel SO much better in the end. When things get really tough, take a break, but NEVER GIVE UP!

"Don't ever stop trying to get where you always wanted to be. The moment you stop trying, is the moment your dream stops coming true."
